Softening Water Treatment Equipment Selection Plan
Standardized operation process of softening water treatment equipment includes five processes: operation (sometimes called water production, the same below), back washing, salt absorption (regeneration), slow scouring (replacement), fast scouring.
All processes of different softening water equipment are very close, but there may be some additional processes due to the different practical technology of deionized water treatment equipment or the need for operation. Any softening water equipment based on sodium ion exchange is carried out on the basis of these five processes (in which the fully active softening water equipment will add saltwater reinjection process).
Backwashing: After a period of operation, the equipment will block a lot of dirt from the raw water of the coating water treatment equipment on the top of the resin. After removing these dirt, the ion exchange resin can be thoroughly exposed, and the regeneration effect can be ensured. The backwashing process is that water is washed in from the bottom of the resin and out from the top, which can wash away the dirt blocked by the top of the water equipment for cleaning the glass tank membrane. This process usually takes five to fifteen minutes.
Salt absorption (regeneration): In the process of brine writing into resin tank, the traditional equipment is to use salt pump to write brine, and the fully active equipment is to use special built-in ejector to inhale brine (only with a certain pressure of water intake). In the process of practical operation, the regeneration effect of brine flowing through the resin at a slower speed is better than that of the resin soaked in brine alone. Therefore, the softening water equipment is regenerated by the method of brine flowing through the resin at a slower speed. This process usually takes 30 minutes, and the practice is always affected by the amount of salt used.
Slow scouring (replacement): In the future, when salt water is used to flow through the resin, the process of gradually scouring all salts in the resin at the same flow rate is called slow scouring. Because there are still a large number of calcium and magnesium ions on the functional groups exchanged by sodium ions in this scouring process, according to practical experience, this process is the primary process of regeneration. Process, so many people call this process displacement. This process is usually the same as the time when salt is absorbed, i.e. 30 minutes at the mercy of the process.
Rapid scouring: In order to thoroughly wash out the residual salt, the flow rate close to the actual operation should be selected and the resin should be scoured with raw water. The final effluent of this process should be qualified soft water. Usually, the fast scouring process is 5-15 minutes.

4. Selectable equipment combinations:
(1) Single-bed control: suspend water supply for 2 hours or continue to supply raw water (hard water bypass) during recovery period.
(2) - Single-controlled twin beds: Replace water supply, one-size-fits-all.
(3) - Double-controlled twin beds: Replace water supply and use one spare type.
(4) Double-controlled twin beds: water supply together, replacing the regenerative type.
(5) Multi-control multi-bed: more than three resin tanks are used in parallel, suitable for large-scale water supply system.
