Reverse osmosis has always been one of the competitive desalination technologies. Water-using equipment in the original seawater electronics industry must be pretreated before passing through RO film. Reverse osmosis method consumes more electric energy, but it has the following advantages compared with multi-stage flash method: only consumes electric energy, does not need steam; equipment system is modular and easy to install; desalination plant has a shorter construction period and occupies a smaller area.
