Carbon steel filter is one of the pretreatment equipments for ion exchange and other fine treatment of water. The equipment adopts the advanced technology of gas-carbon steel filter hydration washing. According to the three-term flow theory and through experiments, the mathematical model of backwashing is established. The best cleaning parameters are obtained, and the reasonable equipment structure design is carried out. The water consumption is saved by 50%. Because of the low strength of backwashing stainless steel membrane shell, no mud ball is formed in the cleaning process, and backwashing is thorough, the quality of the effluent is good, which can improve the running speed; the backwashing flow rate is low, and no backwashing pump is needed.
Carbon steel filters and multi-media filters are pre-treatment equipment used for the supply of water purification equipment by filters. Their main functions are to remove suspended substances and solid particles in water. Its materials are made of various materials, such as PE, steel lining, steel spraying, steel epoxy anticorrosion, stainless steel, etc.
According to the different media of filter media, the use and function are also different. There are quartz sand, activated carbon, manganese sand, anthracite and so on in filter factories. Quartz sand is used as filter material, anthracite is used as filter material, manganese sand (iron and manganese removal) is used as filter material, and activated carbon is used as filter material. It can also be used in combination.
The main functions of the barrel filter are to remove suspended matter, mechanical impurities and organic matter, reduce the turbidity of water, adsorb and remove pigments, residual chlorine colloids and iron ions in water. The size of the filter can be selected according to the amount of filtration, and its operation is very simple.
Carbon steel filter is an indispensable device in medium pipeline. It is usually installed at the inlet of pressure relief valve, pressure relief valve, constant water level valve or other equipment to eliminate impurities in the medium to protect the normal use of valves and equipment. When the fluid enters the filter cartridge with a certain size filter, its impurities are blocked, while the clean filtrate of the water filter is discharged from the outlet of the filter. When cleaning is needed, only the removable filter cartridge is taken out and re-loaded after treatment. Therefore, the use and maintenance are very convenient.
Usage method
1. Quartz sand and anthracite can be used as filter media alone or both. Chemical stability tests of acidic, alkaline and neutral solutions should be carried out. After 24 hours immersion, the following requirements should be met: 1) Increase of total solids < 20mg/l2; Increase of oxygen consumption < 10mg/l3); Increase of SiO 2 < 10mg/l3; Increase of SiO 2 < 10mg/l3
2. Prepare: After purchasing filter material, it should be cleaned carefully. When cleaning, the water flow should be flushed from bottom to top. Then the filter observation should be carried out, and the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet (in the case of 5-10 m/h flow rate) should be compared with that before loading.
3. Filtration (operation): The effluent can be put into operation after it reaches the requirement of effluent quality by positive washing. If the washing time exceeds 1 hour and the water quality requirement is not met, the backwashing should be carried out again. The above process is repeated until the effluent quality requirements are met.
4. Backwashing: After operation failure, backwashing (i.e. the quality of effluent deteriorated beyond the requirement or the pressure difference between inlet and outlet exceeded 0.1 MPa) should be carried out. First, the water of the filter should be reduced to 100 mm on the filter material (while opening the air door) and enter the backwashing water (the strength of backwashing is shown in the previous table), which takes about 3-6 minutes.
5. Rinse: Close the air valve, in order to save time and increase the backwashing strength, but the backwashing strength can not exceed 11L/m2.s, otherwise destroy the water cap and wash away the filter material. Rinse until clear water, about 3 to 5 minutes.
